Our one and a half acres of beautiful parkland gardens are lovingly looked after throughout the year with borders changed seasonally. The care home grounds provide a peaceful and private environment that you can enjoy and a chance to take in the sea air with the other residents and your family or friends when they come to visit. A private pathway provides access to cliff top views of Bournemouth bay from the Isle of Wight to Hengistbury Head and to the renowned area of Sandbanks and the Purbecks beyond.

Our enviable location on the West Cliff in Bournemouth, means we have access to some of the finest seasonal and coastal produce. Using premium, locally sourced fresh ingredients, our resident chef prepares meals that are specifically tailored to your tastes and individual dietary needs, with the emphasis on traditional home cooking.

Start your day with a choice of Continental or English breakfast which can be taken in your room. Later on, after your complimentary aperitif, you can indulge in your selection from the lunch and dinner menus. Both meals are served with a complimentary glass of wine in our exquisite dining room where you can relax and enjoy the experience.

All our rooms are individually decorated for that personal touch to make you feel at home.

The emphasis at Glenhurst Manor is ensuring that you have control over your environment in a way that allows you to feel at home, whether it’s re-arranging the furniture the way you want it or bringing your own – house-trained pets are also welcome in our residential care home. Our team are always on hand to help with anything you need, and all the rooms have the added reassurance and security of a 24-hour call bell.

All of the upstairs rooms are served by a lift and some of them have glorious views across the sea and garden from their private balcony. Most of the ground floor rooms have direct access to the gardens via their own patio doors.

Glenhurst Manor’s range of optional activities and entertainment means that you can stimulate your mind each and every day, keeping you active and amused. Everything from art classes to armchair exercises, from vocalists to piano recitals. Parties to celebrate special events and birthdays are also hosted. We also provide trips to Dorset’s stunning countryside, the theatre and beyond. You have the option to be as involved in our fun and engaging activities as little or as much as you like.
